New cyber-punk rock band Rosen talk about the narcissism that exists in the world of social media in new single ‘High Tech Low Life‘. The single is equipment with punk-rock against boom-bapp vibe and front-man Freddy‘s lyricism that vocally depicts how fast forward people are when it comes to technology, whilst at the same time we’ve been urging for a massive break in our lives with the rise of influencers and celebrities coming from the medium.
The boom-bap vibe is influenced by Cypress Hill, with mix of vitriol a la Rage Against The Machine but in 2017. The track is electrifying with strong editing referencing towards social media. Listening to the track shows how intertwined digital world has become with millennials and generation Z, and it’s only about to get more futuristic from here.
