Dublin’s quintet set the standard straight with their cool art-rock funk single “Love Gotten”. The guitar instrumentals are angular, the sonics are tropical and Moses’ soprano vocals.

With the track alone, you can hear spice of an oddball of different musical influences that the group share; ranging from J Dilla, Jeff Buckley, Fela Kuti, Justin Timberlake and Queens of the Stone Age, whilst diving in and out of the genres of an eclectic innovation of rock, soca, funk and roots. With four genres comes a flamboyant yet uproarious sound brought about by Jody (bass), Joe (guitar), Tom (drums) and Sam (keys/percussion). If it one thing that their diverse mix of musical influences has in common is the fact that they have a strong love for live band instrumentals. Feel free to catch the group live at The Strongroom Bar on the 27th May.
