Four films from Film4 have been selected to screen at the 70th Cannes Film Festival.

These areThe Killin of A Sacred Deer’ Yorgos Lanthimos, ‘You Were Never Really Here’ (Lynne Ramsay), ‘How To Talk To Girls At Parties’ (John Cameron Mitchell) and ‘I Am Not A Witch’ by Rungano Nyoni

Rungano Nyoni’s film deals with the issue with child witchcraft. It follows young girl who is exiled to a travelling where she is threatened to become a goat if she escapes. Nyon.  ‘I Am Not A Witch’ is a follow up from ‘The List’ and ‘Mwansa The Great’.

Also added to the line-up is Coppola ‘s’The Beguiled’ starring Nicole Kidman and Kristen Dunst, which is in the competition schedule.

We’re awaiting for the selection of short films for their Short Film Corner, which will be release in May.
