The young Irish star (real name Johnathan Ng) has gained who recognition over the past year, releases the last and final music video that completes the whole trilogy. All three visuals (“gold” and “crash”) were edited and directed by Zhang + Knight. Both “gold” and “crash” has exceeded four million streams across Spotify, with “gold” ranking up the No.10 on the Global Viral Chart.
This year will see the anticipated and acclaimed artist embark on his UK/European tour beginning from his hometown 24th April. In March he would be in North America, but for now, you need to listen to the fresh new album.
The music video follows the story of two people. The visuals were shot in Ukraine showing a transition of the more intimacy between with the cinematography contrasting between them both. “vertigo” is the follow up from his breakthrough EP “i think you think too much of me”, earning him to be praised by the likes of Pigeons & Planes and Billboard for his heavy guitar-riffs on electronic pop. Giving an insight into his writing the singer reveals that: “It’s more like I’m uncovering something that’s already there. Like how an archaeologist doesn’t create a fossil…”
You may have discovered him from “i think you think too much of me”, but EDEN has been developing a following since his debut EP “End Credits” in 2015. Now that EP earned him secure dates at the music festivals including Governors Ball, Bonnaroo and Firefly.
