Our #NWDHotlist 2017 artist Joy Crookes has release something new and different from her James Bond-esque tunes ‘Sinatra’ and ‘New Manhattan’.

‘Bad Feeling’ channels a soul with the accolade of ¬†nineties trip-hop, bringing in a fresh new sound of Joy Crookes against UK Soul. Could we say that she’s channelling in her own take of British soul like the legendary Amy Winehouse? Maybe…but don’t get that twisted, because Crookes is about to set her own stage. It’s an upgrade for the 18 year-old, who has always placed a tease of on her grind in the music studio across social medias from time to time!

Written by Crookes herself, ‘Bad Feelings’ showcases the singers mature understanding of music melodies and rhythms beyond her youth. Plus, it was produced by Tev’n (SBTRKT, Celeste, Lily Allen)

Which reminds us…you better check her out at LIVE NATION’s SOURCE EVENT, alongside William the Conqueror.¬†Tickets are FREE!
