The second day of London Fashion Week takes the fashion event up an notch.
At Fashion Scout, you had the likes of Mimi Tran, Merit Award Winner Katie Ann McGuain & Sabinna.
Katie McGuain collection was seemly warm and flaming with the abundance of a strong red. After working having the envious experience of working at Britain’s iconic fashion designers (in history, may we just add), McGuain presents her A/W collection of electric patterns and textual overlay style. So, for those who hate the idea of wearing black throughout the cold season…
Mimi Tran launched her bridal collection at Freemason. Nevertheless, despite that her collection was sophisticated, contemporary with a host of pieces that will have any girl ready to party.
Central Saint Martin’s graduate Sabinna continues to build on her influence of her grandmother by having her A/W collection dedicated to youth and girl power. The models were styled in beautiful silhouettes that consisted of an integrated mix of materials. You had school-uniform separates crochet garments against waist-hugging corsets…Can we mention the beautiful ‘girly’ colour palette of the baby blues and pinks!
Fashion Week saw Halpern have its first debut with their designer presentation. There was also Molly Goodard, House of Holland, Versus Versace and Fashion East; which saw designers ASAI, Matty Bovan, Mimi Wade and Supriya Lele present their collection.
