This will be the first for Fox to debut on our television screens following the successful resume in theatre play “A View From The Bridge” by Ivan van Hove. Amika-Bird has already starred alongside Idris Elba in hit BBC show “Luther”, as well as David Oyelowo in “Small Island”. Both actresses will play the two protagonists, who are best friends that reside in North West London.

Already picked up by Saul Dibb, “NW” plans to explore the fate of these two girls, as their lives are a direct and complete opposite of each other in the same area. Directing the drama is Saul Dibb, who also has “Line of Beauty” and “Bullet Boy” among his film portfolio. Also joining Dibb is Rachel Bennette and ¬†Preethi Mavahalli.

NW is now in the works and will be airing on BBC Two.
