BBC Radio 1’s Future Festival returns on Tuesday 17 January to showcase some of 2017’s rising stars.  Future Festival 2016 gave us the likes of NAO, Loyle Carner, Mura Musa and many more.

 This year’s Future Festival championed by BBC Radio 1, will shine the light on artist such as Alma, The Amazons, The Big Moon, Dave, Declan McKenna, Jorja Smith, Nadia Rose and THEY who will grace the legendary BBC Maida Vale Studio for a three-hour show broadcasted live on BBC Radio 1.

Radio 1’s presenter MistaJam says “This year’s future Festival line-up features some of the most exciting and diverse new artists from around the world.”

The festival will be hosted by both MistaJam and Huw Stephens. This is a go-to show for hearing the most exciting new artist tipped for big things in 2017. Having previously featured acts such as Stormzy, Sam Smith, Disclosure and A$AP Rocky – who have all went on to be very successful.
