With her first headline show being such a sell-out, Ruby Francis continues the found momentum by releasing her second EP (following “Night Time Therapy”) that has our favourite tracks “Drip, Drop” and “MOVE”.
This four-track EP is sugar-sweet with the alternative R&B sounds that have become a statement to Ruby Francis‘ sound. The new tracks “Think Twice” and “Heart Rate”. “Think Twice” have those keyboard riffs and atmospheric strings against the R&B melodies that Ruby Francis process with her vocals. There are a mixture of the nineties and noughties instrumental elements with this track. “Heart Rate” is one that we feel would definitely be one of the underrated favourites from her fans and new listeners. It’s a beautiful piece with those noughties R&B nostalgia with a riff of smoothly synced technological percussion.
To conclude, Ruby Francis’ “To Be Fair” EP is R&B-sweet-drenched.
