Beyonce Knowles-Carter will be the voice of Nala, alongside award-winning Donald Glover (who was formerly known as artist Chimdbino) who's leads the pack as Simba. There's also legends Alere Woodward, James Earl-Jones, and Britain's Chitewel Ejiofor, who voice as the nemesis Scar. Seth Rogen takes the co-starring role as Pumbaa and British comedian John Olivier will be voiced as Zazu. James Earl-Jones is the only original actor from the 1994 film that has a reprising role.
COULD THIS FILM BE ONE OF THE ANTICIPATED FILMS FOR 2019? Well, there's a possibility as Disney has recruited the same director behind 'The Jungle Book' remake - Jon Favreau. 'The Jungle Book' reboot earned $965.8 million worldwide. 'The Lion King' original on the other hand became one of the best films of all time and earned gross of $968.8 million. It won the Academy Awards for Best original song and two Grammys. After making a Broadway debut in 19 years later, 'The Lion King' musical remains one of the biggest hit shows, winning six Tony Awards.
