Andrew Donsumu is a renowned director who delivered with the emotion film 'The Mother George' (that starred Danai Guirai) at Sundance Festival in 2013. This year in 2018 he receives wide praises from Variety and IndieWire for his latest major film that has an A-star actress Michelle Pfeiffer taking on the main lead.
'Where Is Kyra?' takes the main protagonist to go down a path following a traumatic event in her personal life whilst living on an income not to sustain a living. Knowing that Pfeiffer has starred in 'Ant-Man and the Wasp', 'Mother!' and 'Murder on the Orient Express' means that this is one of her breakthrough role yet with a breakthrough role whilst Kiefer Sutherland ('24', 'Flatliners' and 'Zoolander 2') stars as the supporting actor. Joining Donsumu is the director of this dramatic film whilst Darci Picoult was the screenwriter of the play. The film was premiered at this year's Sundance with the screening compacted with a Q&A. The film is scheduled to be released in the UK on June 22 this year.
