From becoming a member of the N.A.S.T.Y crew alongside Ghetts, Kano and Jammer to becoming the founding founder of Newham Generals alongside Footsie, Double E have become one of the UK music respectable figures. We’re just wondering as to why he hasn’t got a name yet like Wiley who describes himself as the ‘Godfather of Grime’…
Regardless of not having a title, Double E has released his own set of bangers, which include the likes of ‘Bluku Bluku’ and ‘Like This.’ The release of the music video for his track ‘Better Than The Rest’ comes as excitement towards his forthcoming album in February entitled ‘Jackuumi’. Having already worked with the likes of Skepta, JD Reid, Frisco and Rustie Double E is set to fly the flag on Grime’s next chapter. The visuals for ‘Better Than The Rest’ is gritty and the beat is tinkled with the repetitive keys against Double E‘s grimey and blunt lyrics.
