This September at Tobacco Dock in London, FutureFest returns! For those of you who don’t know, FutureFest is a festival that features amazing immersive experiences and performances, as well as intriguing speakers to challenge perceptions of the future. The festival runs every 18 months in London as is organised by the UK’s innovation foundation, Nesta.
Tickets will be priced at £50 pounds a day and £80 for a weekend pass however, if you happen to have a valid in date NUS card you can get a 50% discount!!!
Last year’s key speakers included Edward Snowden via Skype, Vivienne Westwood, George Clinton and Jon Ronson, just to give you an idea of some of the big names that this festival has to offer.
An example of an experimental session includes a carnival ride powered by brainwaves, an emotive model city and also a blind robot!
