‘Letters’ is a form of therapeutic means to reveal either love, loss, pain, anger and refreshment. With this new webseries, the writers expose the world to their hidden and tragic secrets and the power that it has taken them to accept and overcome. This is an original unscripted show as the writers are real people sharing to the world to a glimpse into certain moments in their lives.
Emilia deals with a serious trauma that efforts emotions and physical attractions to the opposite sex – child abuse. After taking advantage of by someone who she trusted, Emilia talks to the abuser as the conquer. He may have placed her down, but one thing he didn’t do was put her out to the point that will cause her harm to herself. The sad part is that this was a hidden skeleton in the closet that she kept away for years…until now.
Now she wiser, smarter, stronger and a fighter.
The real salute goes to the people who were featured in this show. Their openness to share their vulnerability has, in turn, translated to building blocks for their inner strength to become overcomers and in doing so highlighted in all of us who watch that our inner strength can carry us through, regardless of who it is who has hurt us in the past.
