Following a lot of anticipation, the Most Wanted album has arrived.
The compilation project features some of the best artists in the UK drill and street scene. The fifteen track project includes tracks from artists such as 67, K-Trap, Harlem Spartans, AM & Skengdo amongst many others. This album comes just in time for the rise of popularity and listeners amongst the UK urban scene.
The first visuals from the project have been released just in time for the album dropping, for the title track Most Wanted which shows 67’s LD showcasing his signature sound accompanied with visuals directed by Kevin Hudson.
Following the release of the album, a short film written and directed by artist Rapman is set for release very soon as well as more epic visuals for the other tracks on the way.
The album holds great significance in showcasing the versatility of artists within the same genre, this being drill. For the first time, artists who may not have normally appeared on the same project have come together to make an album which will hold high significance in the history of urban music. The list of various tracks and artists solidifies street rap as one of the most electrifying and exciting sounds to emerge out of the UK as of recent years.
The album opens with an Intro from UK rap legend Giggs who co-signs the artists on the project as the hardest right now and refers to them as the next generation holding proof that they really are the Most Wanted.
Most Wanted has garnered support from Link Up TV, GRM Daily and Mixtape Madness as well as Spotify and Apple Music. With a comprise of 4 tracks appearing in Apple Music’s UK Rap playlist and Spotify’s Rap UK playlist – it’s obvious that this project is a must listen.
