Nakiah Varcianna is already on his third film Scopolamine after “Versus” and “Upstairs“.
“Scopolamine? What’s that all about?” Honestly, before we watched trailer, we assumed that it was just a name of a person. But in true filmmaker style, Varcianna completely takes the vices of the South American drug, making it to be the secret weapon of seduction for Daniela Lusero a.k.a Daniella De’ville a.k.a Soho Seductress (Heather Jayne). A woman who leaves Colombia following a traumatic childhood, to start a new life in London. Luring men with her beauty with the help of the scopolamine.
It’s arguable to say that this is a modern version of the Poison Ivy, the Soho Seductress shows no mercy to no man. Not only does Varcianna direct but he also appears in this film, in what he describes as “just for fun”. Highlighting to the audience & film critics that he is talented in front of the camera. George Dawson, Louie Straw & Graptus Henderson also star in this gritty sinister short.
