For those fashion-lovers that still love a good old fashion documentary style movie this is the perfect movie for you and it’s  called…The First Monday In May“.

Have you ever wondered what exactly what happens when the world’s most famous (and successful) fashion designers work together to put on the biggest fundraising event in the world of fashion, music, film and art of the year?…
Collectively, they create The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala (aka the Met Ball), is the fashion highlight of the year. If you thought Fashion Week was amazing wait till you see this!!!

Vogue Magazine has allowed highly exclusive access to Magnolia Pictures to show the audience the extensive work and creative thought that goes into such an exaggerate yet exclusive event. Attended by very accomplished fashion designers, movie stars, and A-list celebrities across all genres, countries and industries. The documentary closely shadows of Editor-In-Chief of Vogue Magazine Anna Wintour and curator of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Curator, Andrew Bolton. Based on last year’s Met Ball where the theme was “China: Through the Looking a Glass”, the event explores Western fashion inspired my Chinese heritage.
Guest appearance include fashion icons as Karl Lagerfield, Jean Paul Gaultier as well as iconic Hong Kong director Wong Kar-Wai plus many more. During the documentary, thought-provoking discussions are debated by the greatest influencers and leaders in the fashion world.
