RAH, Bassboy release the second volume of ‘Bassline Collection’. It’s another eleven pumped filled-bass album that will get your adrenalin continuously on reload with the aggressive bassline, repetitive techno synths and the fast-tempo beats.
Being known for his experimentation with synths and bass, Bassboy does another compilation that has come and arrived just on time for the Christmas and New Year Festivities. It celebrates his work and material over the past ten years and his progression in the UK music scene. The projects open with his ’09 release ‘I See You’, which features sonic vocals from Dom. After lightly grasping our ears to the aggressive energy, he then takes his own take on Grime with ‘Get A Reload’ taking us back to the golden days of pirate radio and the UK underground scene. ‘Get A Reload’ will be the ice-breaker to get any house-party started as it has the break and the catchy line.
‘Be Around’ continues his love for sonic subtle vocals against his strong hard synths and techno strings. ‘Do You’ follows up, before ‘Wompt Fear Three’ turns the whole project on its by being a skewed instrumental with an infectious beat. ‘Ya Skappy Bastard’ is electrifying with its composition of light and heavy rhythms. ‘Put My Love’ is influenced by the Garage sound that existed during the early years of the 00s, but Bassboy made it his own by adding the popular bassline that was usually added on the Garage remixes of popular hits (Pink – There You Go).
‘Nightmare Remix’ consists of repetitive kicks and snares in the track that is electronically infused with drums. The album ends with a continuous mix with the final track that resembles the title. This has no distractions, just pure good and good beats. Being recognised for creating hardcore-dance-banging beats and basslines. Bassboy has set off to organise his own festival called the ‘BassFest’. He’s scheduled to spin at Sheffield on New Year’s Eve.
