Grime emcee Laughta returns to the scene with her brand new energetic track Pree My Ting. Produced by grime veteran and Boy Better Know member, Jammer the nostalgic grime beat is a perfect base for Laughta to showcase her lyrical abilities directed at her haters and people preeing her. Laughta is doing it well for the female grime community, one which remains very much understated.
Speaking about the collaboration Laughta says,
“It’s so inspiring to be working with such a pioneer from the scene who’s done so much over the years and his knowledge and guidance is priceless”
Laughta and Jammer came up with the video concept together and wanted to bring an element of fun and humour back to videos – which isn’t necessarily represented or shown in the usual contemporary grime visuals.
Earlier on in the year, Laughta released her five-track EP My Terms and Conditions which consisted of five grime bangers produced by none-other than legendary grime producers The Heavytrackerz. The EP featured artists Gen and Face.
With an interesting multi-cultural background, Laughta draws upon her culture in her music as she was born and in Nigeria to Lebanese parents.
