Olan Collardy (“How Did We Get Here?,” “Life Of Hers”) works with writer Nikola Trifunovic to produce a detective thriller “Marlene”.
It is an intense point-of-view from the eye of the detective, as both parties (played by Nikola Trifunovic & Ramona Von Pusch) each gave their account about their relationship with Marlene. Which allows the viewers to assess and debate as to who is telling the truth and who is the suspect. Was her murder manslaughter? Considering that this was a ‘open relationship’ love triangle? Did the woman get jealous that her Marlene was cosy with her husband? Who do you believe? Or was this a planned murder? Seeing that both the man and woman seem to be defensive on certain occasions.
